Seasoned pro is appointed as technical sales manager
Red Square Audio has welcomed experienced audio professional Fran Hunter to the company.
Hunter will be primarily involved as technical sales manager but will also be working closely with founder Paul Nicholson on demo and training activities in support of both the Innovason and Tannoy lines.
Hunter has been working in studio and live professional sound for over 15 years. He has been involved in work as varied as rebuilding a Neve room for a London studio, working in studios across Europe, through the night on major tours and festivals and completing live multi-track recordings for artists such as Prince.
He was upbeat about the current economic climate, both within the industry and the world at large, he commented: "There’s no doubt that you have to be more than a little inventive and perhaps find new ways of doing business in order to survive at the moment, but I find the challenges facing the industry today really exciting and I genuinely believe that here at Red Square Audio Paul has put together the ideal team to face those challenges and to be really successful."
Nicholson was equally positive and added: “It’s great to have Fran on board, we are coming to the market with two amazing products, the Innovason Eclipse and the Tannoy VQ Live, and Fran’s experience and knowledge will enable us to deliver the very highest level of support and enthusiasm that the products and our clients deserve.”
