New pro line promises to inherit bang for buck appeal of LD's acclaimed MI products
Adam Hall has launched LD Premium, a new range of PA products aimed squarely at the professional market, at ProLight+Sound 2009, Frankfurt.
The new line promises to inherit the same ‘bang for buck’ appeal that the company’s acclaimed MI products have built a solid reputation on.
The principles of the new series were: "brilliant sound at high sound pressure levels, high quality components, a reliable service, and reasonable price point". It comprises eight-inch, ten-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch multi-purpose loudspeakers, as well VA4 (pictured) and VA8 line-array systems. Subwoofers including a single 15-inch, dual 15-inch and dual 18-inch complement the loudspeaker line up, while a dedicated digital management processor is also available.
The whole range features specially manufactured high quality components exclusive to LD Premium and was co-developed by experienced audio-researchers and FOH engineers in the USA and Germany.
The uniquely designed cabinets are all made of 18mm multiplex and coated with the DuraCoat LX coating, which helps them stand up to the tough daily demands of touring and live applications. The flyware and stacking components are easy to use and meet the highest demands in terms of safety.
LD Systems offers a five year guarantee on all its LD Premium products, which it attributes to its high manufacturing quality, constantly controlled in all areas, from the individual components through to the finished products.
In line with the show launch, the new LD Premium website has now gone live and can be visited at: www.ld-premium.com.
