Velodrome stadium incident forces show cancellation
One person was killed and six were injured during the construction of the stage for Madonna’s concert at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille, France, the BBC has reported.
The incident involved technicians constructing the stage. The show organisers have since cancelled the show, scheduled for Sunday, 19 July.
The concert is one of the dates on the European leg of Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour.
