IQOYA range to take special focus of new appointment
Digigram has announced the appointment of Global Broadcast Supply (GBS) as its exclusive distribution partner in Southeast Asia.
GBS will be representing the full range of Digigram products including its sound cards and networking products, with particular focus on the new IQOYA range of audio-over-IP products.
The appointment follows the appointment of Nancy Diaz-Curial as sales account manager with Digigram Asia to handle India, Japan and Australasia.
GBS is headquartered in Singapore and has a number of local offices throughout the Asian region. The countries they will be serving for Digigram are Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Brunei and Myanmar. As well as being an authorized distributor for a large number of internationally renowned brands in the broadcast equipment sector, GBS also has a systems integration division and an online store (www.GBSonline.com.sg).
GBS’s YC Tan is pleased to add Digigram amongst the company’s portfolio. “Digigram is an ideal fit for us,” he noted. “We share the same company philosophy in that we are dedicated to providing our clients with fully optimized solutions to cater to their needs, and this principle is the core of our success.
We have a large inventory that includes spares as well as efficient delivery, so customers are able to keep their operations running smoothly. Clients are always treated as joint partners so that mutual benefits are reaped from a long-term business relationship. The wide array of brands under the GBS banner enables us to be a professional one-stop shop for customers with different budgets and requirements. The addition of Digigram products to our portfolio, especially their innovative IQOYA IP audio codecs gives us even greater versatility to offer competitive system solutions.”
Digigram president and CEO, Philippe Delacroix, stated. “Asia is an important market for us, and it is therefore essential that we have a strong partner to represent us. I believe that GBS will fulfil those requirements and more. They are committed to offering high levels of service, both pre- and post-purchase, which is important to us, and they are the principal suppliers to most of the main privately owned and government radio and TV stations. We are looking forward to a mutually beneficial relationship and will support GBS in all their business endeavours.”
