Shure UK appoints new field sales manager

Anthony Short promoted to handle B2B wholesale and sub-distribution accounts
Shure Distribution UK has announced the promotion of Anthony Short to the position of field sales manager.
In this new role Short will lead the external sales team covering all pro audio sales channels and take direct responsibility for Key B2B wholesale and sub-distribution accounts.
Anthony entered the music industry in 2000 working for Academy in Sound in the Leeds Branch, following a management role in-store Anthony transferred to the Central Office in Mansfield working in a number of roles within the Purchasing Team before taking responsibility for the running of this department in 2003. In late 2004 Sound Control purchased the AOS chain and he worked in a management capacity to facilitate the merging of both operations. Short left Sound Control in September 2004 to take up an area manager position with Shure Distribution, which he has occupied since then, his primary focus being on developing business within the Commercial division.
