Audio-Technica Announces Road to Success Tour 2008

Seven city UK roadshow replaces PLASA show in firm's diary
Audio-Technica is hitting the road this spring with a seven city roadshow, taking the brand to audio professionals and end users away from the typically hectic trade show environment. The company will not be exhibiting at PLASA 2008, so the roadshow represents an exclusive opportunity to experience Audio-Technica ‘live’ this year.
The ‘Road to Success’ tour is designed to allow visitors to benefit from a quality seminar and workshop program as well as get hands-on with new Audio-Technica product in a specially designed mobile display vehicle. From London to Edinburgh, Bristol to Birmingham, the vehicle will traverse the UK between 22 May and 10 June, making stops at beautiful hotel locations and opening its doors from 10am to 5.30pm on each of the tour dates.
Visitors to the free-to-attend roadshow will get a chance to experience Audio-Technica’s latest product innovations (each of the new products will be displayed inside the vehicle) and will have the opportunity to hear from experts including Audio-Technica’s European Wireless Specialist for Regulatory Issues, Dré Klaassen and Sabine Inc CEO, Doran Oster, hosting short seminars (on issues including the Digital Dividend Review and Sabine’s feedback control solutions). An intensive three hour ‘Wireless Workshop’ is also part of the ‘Road to Success’ package.
Explaining the thinking behind the ‘Road to Success’ tour, Audio-Technica Senior UK Marketing Manager Harvey Roberts says, “Audio-Technica is known for its innovative approach in all aspects of business and we wanted to do something fresh and exciting in terms of the way we present our products and know-how in 2008. We’re also aware that our customers’ time is precious – by taking Audio-Technica to our customers, we hope to make it as easy as possible for them to access all that we have to offer in terms of product innovation and advice.”
The tour will be of real interest to anyone using wireless systems, from sound engineers and broadcasters to installers and retailers.
