Violet Design new mics and capsule prototypes stolen from Frankfurt Messe
Violet Design’s latest microphone samples and capsule prototypes were stolen and its display booth damaged after this year’s Prolight+Sound.
Although Violet had a successful show, its new Wedge and
Pearl Vocal models were stolen from a flight case while being stored at the Frankfurt Messe after the show. The company grew suspicious when delivery of its transport box was delayed from the hall. It eventually received a letter stating that the box was found damaged and looted in a stairwell of the convention centre.
The full list of stolen items is as follows:
Wedge models with serial numbers 08-008 to 08-0032
Pearl Vocal models with GPV-0021 to 0025 and GP084-0091 Capsule prototypes VD67, VD47, VD26
Accessories: holders for Blacknight, Finger, and Pearl microphones, red and black shockmounts for Wedge microphones
