InfoComm, Las Vegas - US manufacturer Symetrix, Inc, developer of the Symetrix, SymNet, AirTools, and Lucid brands, has introduced the third product in the Integrator Series, the Automix Matrix 780.
The Automix Matrix 780 is a twelve-channel automixer with eight sub-mixes and comprehensive DSP that is designed to do justice to sound where justice matters most, providing a complete set of the tools required for consistently clear audio in courtrooms, government chambers, corporate boardrooms and houses of worship.

The four line inputs include filters and equalization with automatic gain control (AGC) for devices such as CD and DVD players, TV audio or an additional mixer.
Sub-group or mix-minus mixes may be dedicated to specific tasks such as recording, archiving or broadcast, and may be routed to up to eight unique locations, each with EQ and limiting.
According to Symetrix the unit is easily set up using a Windows interface connected over Ethernet, while the network-ready system includes a wizard-driven software setup and a GUI comprising two panels, ensuring that no parameter is ever more than two clicks away.
The front panel provides access to vital system parameters and may be custom programmed for user and technician control.
The unit is also compatible with proprietary RS-485-based Adaptive Remote Control (ARC) Wall Panels, which offer additional user control options. Open Collector outputs can drive LEDs directly for status updates or integrate with external logic and automation systems.
The company also used the show to introduce three new wall panel accessories; The Symetrix ARC-2i Integrator Series Adaptive Remote Control Wall Panel, RC-4/RC-4e Remote Volume Plus Selection Wall Panel and MS-1/MS-1e Sense Microphone Wall Panel.
