Flood and Alan Moulder, whose combined experience has produced renowned albums from Nick Cave, Nine Inch Nails, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins and The Jesus and Mary Chain, have opened a new studio in association with Miloco studios.
Located in Willesden, London, Assault & Battery 2 has a big live area designed for large bands and small orchestras along with two huge isolation booths; one designed to offer a wide variety of drum sounds while the other features a giant collection of analogue synths.
A refurbished Neve VR60 console sits as the centrepiece of the studio, connected to a Pro Tools HD3 Accel systems, which runs on an Intel 8-core Mac and Quested monitors.
The studio also has a unique inventory of outboard gear and several rare Fender and Gibson guitars.
The studio was opened with Miloco studios as a new commercial venture. Miloco boasts that the new studio has an inspirational, laid back environment with natural light and a décor made up of imposing dark shades and cutting edge lighting.
Assault & Battery 2 is open and ready for a multitude of recording sessions. To find out more information, contact Linda at the Miloco office on +44 (0) 2072320008
