UK, German and US mobile recording firms join forces
Three of the world leaders in mobile recording, Fleetwood Mobiles in the UK, Peter Brandt Remote Recording in Germany and Remote Recording in New York have joined forces in a global venture to deliver superior sound quality to the live recording market.
The new partnership will focus on combining world class facilities, staff and equipment and will enable the sharing of cutting edge surround sound knowledge and recording techniques for their clients.
Superiority of recorded sound is the driving force behind the new partnership as all three companies seek to address the exciting opportunities created by the rapid evolution of HDTV, Blu-ray and On-Line distribution.
The partnership brings together some of the world’s finest sound recording engineers. Peter Brandt, David Hewitt, Ronald Prent and Jerry Boys have the same philosophy – ‘Sound Matters’. This has led to Hewitt being inducted into the TEC Hall of Fame and why all have won prestigious awards including Grammys for their recordings.
Commenting on the new partnership, Remote Recording owner, Karen Brinton said, “It’s a thrill to be part of this elite group. We are now in a position to offer our clients a worldwide service combining the highest levels of experience, quality and consistency in each area from pre-production through to final post.”
Peter Brandt, owner of Remote Recording GmbH added “Capturing the essence of each artist’s performance and interaction with the audience is key to all our clients and is at the heart of all great live recordings.
I have been working closely with Fleetwood recently and I believe this new venture offers us all the opportunity to expand without compromising quality.”
Indeed, a common thread across the three businesses is the compatibility of their audio facilities and the scalability that the equipment provides with regard to new formats and new technologies.
Ian Cooper, director of Fleetwood commented, “I’m impressed with the quality that these facilities offer and think this is a good fit with our own business model. We’ve always respected the knowledge and experience shown by Peter and Karen’s world class companies, and feel that there is a lot we can learn and share from this new partnership – the future is bright.”
