TC Electronic appoints new UK sales managers

Steve Russell and Bruce Davidson also to represent company’s latest line from Tannoy

TC Electronic has announced changes to its team in the UK, which have seen National Sales Manager, Steve Russell, and National Sales Representative, Bruce Davidson, appointed to represent the Danish company.

TC Electronic reports that both were chosen for their high competence, knowledge and experience of the industry and their ability to take TC Electronic UK to the next level – especially in the MI sector.

“It is our aim to go even further into dedicated partnerships with dealers and ensure onward success,” explained Jesper Bengtsson, European area manager. “Through training programs, more in-store presence and much more in the way of structure to our business development than what dealers have seen before, this will emphasise what we wish to achieve with our partners – mutual success on TC Electronic products.”

Steve and Bruce will represent the entire product range of TC Electronic (MI, studio, production, live and broadcast) along with Dynaudio Acoustics and TC-Helicon. In addition, the company is pleased to add an additional product line to its catalogue.

At the recent PLASA Show in London, an official agreement was made between Tannoy and TC Electronic for the exclusive distribution of Tannoy Studio monitors in the UK.

Represented by Matthias Exner, international sales manager for Tannoy and TC Electronic’s Steve Russell and Bruce Davidson, this agreement is seen as beneficial for both companies and aims to ensure all relevant dealers a better business opportunity in Tannoy studio monitors. In-store positioning, staff-training and stabilised price structures across the product lines Reveal, Precision, Precision iDP and Ellipse iDP, will be rolled out over the coming months.

“We believe TC can bring the positioning of Tannoy Studio Monitors up to standard again and we have great beliefs in TC Electronic and in particular Steve and Bruce in doing so,” said Exner.
