Alcons Audio will occupy stand 74 at this year’s ABTT event at this year’s London-based show.
The Dutch audio specialist will be highlighting its range of loudspeaker solutions and controller-amplifiers. Their portfolio consists of point-source, through line-source to line-array solutions, all based around proprietary and multiple-patented pro-ribbon transducer technology.
Point-source systems on show include the VR8 compact monitor, as well as the SR9 front-fill, both two-way passive systems, featuring a 4” pro-ribbon HF driver.
Alcons’ line-source solutions are represented by the QR36 pro-ribbon column array system. The modular array concept comprises loudspeaker modules one metre in length, which can form long arrays for controlled projection.
Line-array appears in the form of the LR7 micro line-array system, together with the LR7Bass system.

Visitors will also be able to get a preview of the forthcoming BC332 cardioid subwoofer. As a self-contained subwoofer, the system features a single direct-radiating 18” on the front and a 15” woofer on the rear. Processed by Alcons’ Digital Drive Processor, the BC332 offers selectable cardioid, low-frequency pattern control, without the need for additional cabinets.
