Audio Pro International’s month-by-month rundown of the year’s biggest stories continues, as we take a look at some of the major talking points, which took place in February.
Kicking things off in February was ISE 2011, with the Amsterdam event featuring more pro audio companies than ever before. This provided the opportunity for a number of firms to utilise the platform to make key announcements, such as the TC Group, which announced that it was to become part of the AVnu Alliance.
February also saw the acquisition of Front Line Management Group by entertainment firm and event ticket vendor Live Nation, while Plan B and acclaimed producer Tony Visconti were among the winners at the third annual MPG Awards.
