Dominating the headlines at the beginning of May was news that Peavey US was to be sued by Behringer’s Music Group, sparking a legal feud between the two companies.
In other news, Cambridge firm Prism celebrated its Queens Award success for Excellence in Enterprise, while Soho-based post production facility Hackenbacker also celebrated award success, following its BAFTA for Best Sound Fiction for its work on Downton Abbey.
Yamaha Commercial Audio announced the appointment of Karl Christmas to senior manager, and Abbey Road and T in the Park were among the winners at the Music Week Awards show.
