Barbara Streisand takes Audio-Technica mics on the road

Legendary performer Barbara Streisand is currently taking her ‘Back to Brooklyn’ tour across North America and Canada with an Audio-Technica 5000 Series wireless with AEW-T5400 cardioid condenser handheld microphone/transmitter in tow.

Touring in support of her new album entitled Release Me, Streisand opened her tour at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Centre on Monday, October 8th, with Audio-Technica’s 5000 Series wireless with AEW-T5400 cardioid condenser handheld microphone/transmitter specified as her mic of choice.

Currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, Audio-Technica released a range of special edition microphones earlier this year to commemorate the occasion. The special range is comprised of the AT4050URUSHI and AT4050/LE multi-pattern condensers, AE6100/LE hypercardioid dynamic, AE5400/LE cardioid condenser, AE4100/LE cardioid dynamic and ATM25/LE hypercardioid dynamic microphones, as well as the ATH-M50/LE and ATH-PRO700Mk2ANV headphones, all of which feature 50th Anniversary design and colour schemes, with the AE5400/LE and 4050 models being supplied in hand-crafted wooden carrying cases.
