What is more, The DT 1350’s Tesla drivers are highly efficient and offer extremely low levels of distortion. This allows the DT 1350 to produce a perfectly balanced, analytical sound even at the highest volumes.

POLARaudio will also be showcasing the new range of Blue Sky 5.1 Monitoring speakers. These offer users an effective monitoring solution for Outside Broadcast Vehicles. Naturally, space is a premium in any mobile broadcast and recording environments. But users should not have to compromise on quality solely due to space limitations. This is where the Blue Sky 5.1 monitoring speaker tech comes into its own.

The 5.1 rig includes the Blue Sky Sat 6.5 MKII (for the left, centre and right) employs a 6.5 inch hemispherical drover and 1 inch ferrite tweeter. This is combined with the Blue Sky Sat 5 MKIII with 5.25 inch hemispherical woofer for surrounds. What is more, when combined with the Blue Sky Sub 8 MKII (19′ rack mountable) and the Blue Sky BMC MKIII base manager provides a professional surround listening environment in tight quarters. The Blue Sky “closed box design” ensures a “non-coloured” monitoring canvas, especially when it’s necessary to “box in” the satellite speakers.

POLARaudio will also be displaying the Aviom Digital Snakes snake systems. These are simple to design, install, set up and operate.

The Aviom Pro16 and Aviom Pro64 series offer a modular approach to building digital snakes for live or fixed applications. The ease with which Aviom systems can be reconfigured makes them flexible and cost-effective. Adding more I/O or multiple digital splits is as simple as plugging in a Cat-5 cable—there is no complicated addressing or programming is required. Overall, on-location broadcast users benefit from faster setup and tear down. In addition, the use of inexpensive Cat-5 cables means that they can be easily replaced or transported, used for long cable runs without loss of fidelity, and provides the ability to add splits at any time.

Furthermore, POLARaudio will be showcasing the new ASL Intercom Digital Intercom system. This new system from the Netherlands-based intercom specialists marks a breakthrough in providing efficient, reliable communications for demanding live production applications. Thanks to innovative use of the newest networking technologies, the ASL Digital Intercom system is an easy to use, flexible intercom system.
