The members of Hot Chip have taken time out of their busy schedule posing for Converse adverts to launch the Yota Space festival in St Petersburg Russia this December.
Penned as "one of the biggest international digital arts and music festivals Europe has ever seen", Yota Space will take place in a 15,000 sqm building over five floors. The two week festival, created by Yota, the Russian mobile broadband company, will also feature the world’s leading digital artists including Brian Eno, the legendary music producer who will also be showcasing his very own installation of music and digital art using HD LED light.
Other artists on the bill include onedotzero, who recently had its ‘Adventures in Motion’ exhibition at the BFI, Chris Levine, creator the first holographic portrait of the Queen, Jason Bruges, famous for his light displays on iconic landmarks, United Visual Artists, known for its multi sensory artwork and collaboration with Massive Attack, and Musion, creators of holographic images for the Gorillaz and Madonna’s live performances.
