IBC 2012: Studer teams up with DAVID Systems

Studer has announced that DAVID Systems now supports Studer’s Monitora protocol, a feature of Studer’s OnAir consoles.

DAVID Systems is also now able to provide BCS (Broadcast Server), its radio playout automation technology, which includes Turbo Player (the playout application of BCS), for Studer OnAir consoles.

Designed to meet customers’ demands for different level of workflows, the combination of Studer consoles and DAVID’s playout is intended to offer an combination of leading products for the radio broadcast market. With DAVID’s ‘BCS News’ as part of the DigaSystem product family, simple playout is optimised, supporting OnAir 1500 consoles for a radio-specific solution and OnAir 3000 consoles for live broadcasts.

In addition to the setup at the Studer stand, DAVID Systems will be demonstrating its BCS system with a Studer OnAir 1500 mixing console at IBC, Hall 7, Stand F20.
