This year’s hotly anticipated Isle of Wight festival opens its doors in just under 24 hours, with Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Pearl Jam headlining the main stage across the three-day event.
Other big names set to take to the main stage across the festival are Noel Gallagher, Jessie J, Madness, Elbow and Biffy Clyro.
Headlining the opening night (Friday 22nd) of the festival is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, while Pearl Jam top the bill on Saturday 23rd. Meanwhile, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, an act long-sought after by the Isle of Wight festival, close the event on Sunday 24th. “It's taken years to get him here, but it will have been worth the wait - he is one of the greatest acts of all time, it's going to be a classic year,” said John Giddings, the festival's promoter.
