Duran Audio has announced the addition of Max Lindsay-Johnson, Steffan Lewis and Andrew Taylor to its sales and marketing team.
Former Harman Pro UK MD, Lindsay-Johnson joins Duran as international sales manager following his recent post at Studiomasters (read full story here). He will be based in the company's new R&D and production facility in Zaltbommel, The Netherlands. “It's an exciting time for Duran Audio, with everything that has been put in place over the past few years, and I feel it’s a real opportunity to now capitalise on these foundations,” Johnson stated. “Seldom do you get an opportunity to be involved in something so technologically far reaching, with such an inspirational team of people.”
In his new post, Johnson has been assigned to further develop the worldwide distribution network for the AXYS brand, whilst offering support to Duran’s current partners. He will work in close association with Nick Screen, who was recently appointed as international business development manager. “I believe Nick and Max, together, will prove to be a strong team who will bring a fresh impetus to our business.” Gerrit Duran, founder and president of Duran Audio.
Duran’s Steffan Lewis, whom has been with the company since 2002, now takes on the role of technical sales for the PA/VA market whilst Andrew Taylor joins the company to focus on Technical Sales for the Theatre and Touring Markets.
Taylor joins Duran Audio UK from Stage Electrics where he was an audio project manager. He will be working in close association with Chris Full, Duran Audio’s theatre and touring sound consultant, to increase the presence of the AXYS brand in these markets.
