Miloco Studios has recently purchased two brand new Audient ASP4816 analogue recording consoles in two of its writing studios.
The Bridge in London (SE1), and The Summerhouse residential writing studio on Osea Island, have both been launched recently, with Audient’s new desk serving as a key centrepiece for both facilities.
The ASP4816 is designed to provide the key features of a large recording console despite its compact size. It offers the brand’s Class A preamp and four band EQ, as well as 40 faders, 48 inputs at mix, 16 bus routing, 6 auxes, two dedicated cue sends, four stereo returns, stereo bus compressor and a comprehensive monitor section.
Miloco managing director Nick Young commented: “These consoles seemed the ideal fit for both of the studios. We were looking for something compact but with versatility and in the right price range. The consoles’ versatility means we can record, overdub or mix with ease. We have put both of the desks to good use and the early feedback has been very positive.”
