New look Audio Pro website gives you more

As you might have noticed, Audio Pro has just overhauled its web presence.

The new Audio Pro website has been built to give you all the content you already love, packaged in a form conducive to our web-centric, socially-networked age.

It's all part of our goal to keep Audio Pro as the number one information source for the pro audio industry across as many channels as possible, encompassing print, online, email, mobile, app and social networks.

This approach ensures we can deliver maximum convenience to readers and extra value to advertisers.

We're also now in a position where we can react more swiftly to both changes in online technology and changes within the pro audio industry itself, which in turn will help you stay ahead of the curve.

We won't bore you with all the technical details, but here are just some of the ways we've tailored the new Audio Pro website to the needs of our community:


The focal point of the site itself is the Home Stream, which channels all the content uploaded to the site, whether it's news, opinion, interviews, product reviews, events or jobs. We realised you're more interested in what the story is about than its format.


One of our key objectives with the new site has been to put you in control. There's a new Account Management area where you can manage all your preferences to build an Audio Pro website tailored just for you. You can also choose what types of content you want to view in the Home Stream.


Got something to say? We've revamped the Article Comments system. You now have to be fully registered with the site in order to post a comment, with real names used to increase transparency and improve the quality of comments. You can even choose to 'follow' comment threads so you never miss the debate.

Social networking

Audio Pro is already well-established on Twitter, Linked In and Facebook. But with the new site you now have the ability to share articles you like across your own accounts, direct from the page. You can also create your own Public Profile, so that other Audio Pro readers can connect with you via social networks outside of the website - just go to your Account Management screen to set that up.

Industry Directory

As part of Audio Pro's drive to maintain its position as the premier destination for pro audio info we're improving our Industry Directory, allowing you to add in a full company profile and extensive contact details (including social network accounts) for either a one or 12 month period.


Historically, the Jobs Board has been one of the busiest parts of the Audio Pro website, but now it's bigger and better, with multiple vacancy listings on site and a built-in application mechanism.

And don't forget, on top of all that you can also download the Audio Pro iPhone app and Digital Edition of the magazine, sponsored by Full Fat Audio.
