PLASA 2012: Roland to get ‘hands on’ in London

Roland Systems Group is looking to create an ‘event within an event’ at this year’s PLASA 2012 show, as it combines new product and software launches with a schedule of ‘Hands On Live Sessions’ hosted by key dealers throughout the show.

The show, which takes place at London’s Earls Court from September 9th-12th, will see Roland make a series of exclusive product launches, whilst offering visitors to the stand (1-F34) to get first hand experience of the company’s latest innovations.

Designed to give visitors an interactive experience with the company’s live, recording and video products, five ‘Hands on Live’ sessions will take place on the Roland stand each day, with up to 12 places available for each. Pre-registration will be available via the hosting dealer or the RSG website, while more information can be requested by email to

Among the items on display at the RSG stand this year is the dedicated iPad ‘App’ to control the Roland M-480 Digital Console, which has been designed to control the parameters of the M-480, as well as giving the user practical features, such as the ability to store scenes and edit the Channel Strip (EQ), GEQ and Sends on Fader.

The full product portfolio from Roland Systems Group includes a range of professional audio and video equipment including digital consoles, personal mixers, multi channel recorders, audio recorders, video switchers and mixers, video converters and video editors.
