PLASA has announced its first regional event in North America, PLASA Focus: Austin 2012.
Held from 22 to 23rd February, 2012 at the Renaissance Austin, Focus: Austin is modelled on the highly successful PLASA Focus: Leeds. The Austin event will provide a platform for members of the entertainment technology community to do business and network in a friendly setting. It will be reasonably priced for exhibitors and free to registered visitors.
Lori Rubinstein, PLASA's North American executive director, stated: "These unique PLASA Focus events will provide regional opportunities for companies to give more of their staff a chance to see new products, receive training and network with vendors and peers. They also offer dealers, rental houses and production companies, as well as manufacturers, a terrific and inexpensive vehicle to reach new and existing customers in their own backyard."
Jackie Tien, PLASA's Media and events director, also commented: "We look forward to offering our industry colleagues fresh, new business and networking opportunities through PLASA Focus: Austin and our ongoing PLASA Focus U.S. events."
