Roland Systems Group relocates to Metropolis

Roland Systems Group has relocated to legendary London facility Metropolis Studios, in a to place the firm at the heart of the live music and production industry.

Now in its 21st year, Metropolis Group is Europe’s most successful independent recording and production facility, having welcomes such high-profile artists through its doors as Queen, Rihanna, The Verve, The Stone Roses, Adele and Lady Gaga. 

“The decision to move to Metropolis Studios is part of our long term strategy to increase our visibility as a total solutions provider to audio and video professionals. The obvious synergy between both RSG and Music products are demonstrated clearly in an environment such as Metropolis - and being in such an environment allows us to gain a better understanding of what our users want and how we can better address our target markets’, commented Peter Heath, Business Development director at Roland UK. “The move to Metropolis will help us to achieve our goal to develop our relationships with dealers and end users, providing the products they want with the features they need.”

To celebrate the move, Roland Systems Group (RSG) held an opening ceremony on Friday June 22nd, where the new office was officially opened by Roland (UK) managing director Tim Walter and Metropolis managing director Ian Brenchley. The event also highlighted a number of key new developments from RSG, including the iPad Application for the M-480 live mixing console and the partnership with global communications technology specialist Talkpoint - both of which represent new areas for the company.
