Turbosound has hired Sean Martin to head up international sales for the brand, with overall responsibility for the firm’s home market and widespread export dealings.
Martin possesses over 30 years experience at international level with some of the world's’s best known pro audio brands, including an earlier four-year period with Turbosound in the late ‘90s, which allowed him to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the industry’s distribution network.
He fills the international sales role recently vacated by outgoing sales director Dominic Harter, who rejoined Soundcraft recently having led Turbosound’s sales and product strategy for almost ten years.
With Martin’s extensive distribution knowledge and familiarity with the brand, a seamless transition period is expected as Turbosound gears up for a new growth phase alongside sister companies Midas and Klark Teknik, which together make up the newly formed Music Group Pro Division.
“I’m very happy to be returning to Turbosound, a company that I’ve always had immense admiration for in pursuing a focused line of loudspeaker development," said Martin. "With the considerable resources of the Music Group behind us and a great engineering team who have just been recognised for their innovative designs, I am confident that Turbosound will continue to grow and prosper and I am delighted to be able to play a part.”
