Tannoy and Lab.gruppen collaborate on VX series

Tannoy and Lab.gruppen have announced that they will unveil a brand new series of speakers at the ISE Show this Feburary.

The two firms will share a joint space on Stand 5N98 to debut the new Tannoy VX Series, which features self-powered models with integrated Lab.gruppen amplifiers, the first product of its type to feature both companies’ technologies.

The VX Series is said to expand on Tannoy’s core offerings by combining next-generation Dual Concentric driver technology with “smart new cabinet designs, enhanced build quality and carefully thought-out functionality".

The self-powered models in the line feature integrated Lab.gruppen amplification matched to complement the Tannoy loudspeakers.

Tannoy will also highlight its QFlex beam-steering array range. QFlex has been weatherised for outdoor or harsh environments without compromising on the product’s aesthetic, making it suited for large-scale transport hub applications such as within airport terminals and major train stations. The full range of models will be on show, along with the new Sentinel SM-1 monitor system.

Tannoy will also be exhibiting its range of in-ceiling products including the new CVS 8, as well as debuting DVS Series a brand new range of surface mount loudspeakers designed with the hotel, bar and restaurant sector in mind.

Lab.gruppen will be exhibiting its C Series range of installation-dedicated power amplifiers along side the FP+ Series and PLM Series of Powered Loudspeaker Management systems (featuring onboard Lake Processing). Lake themselves will also have a dedicated presence with their standalone Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processor on show, in the form of the LM 26.
