This week’s Top 10—which runs up to February 23rd—is dominated by awards ceremonies. The BRITS top the table of awards stories with the London O2 event’s headline acts pulling in the readers along with an article on the producer of BRIT-winning Coldplay’s nominated album Mylo Xyloto using an SSL console. Other awards news in the Top 10 include the Grammy’s in which DiGiCo consoles played an important broadcasting role, the installation of JBL loudspeakers by the Oscars organisers at one of their venues and, finally, the high-profile nominations for the 2012 MPG Awards.
Outside of the awards ceremonies and book-ending the top 10 is API’s ever-popular Rising Stars feature with this week’s London-based Tshari King hitting top spot and last week’s Adam J Hockley holding in at tenth place.
Finally, there is the much welcomed arrival of Justin Grealy’s new API column and the seemingly less welcomed arrival of Universal’s formal request to purchase EMI.
