This week’s round up of the Top 10 most popular news articles up to March 8th is once again topped by API’s popular Rising Stars feature, this week the spotlight was on Ben Hobbs from Reading.
Rounding off the top 3 are two big stories that have featured highly across the press: the Great Ticket Scandal issue raised by Channel 4’s Dispatches programme on February 23rd and the arrival of the new third generation of the much-rumoured and ubiquitous Apple iPad.
Excitement around Frankfurt’s ProLight + Sound event is also building with three of the top 10 news stories covering pre-event announcements from Allen & Heath, Renkus-Heinz and Avid coming before the event opens its doors on March 21st.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, unfortunately, it is a matter of doors closing with the film studio utilised for the likes of The Iron Lady, My Week with Marilyn and past works such as the Beatles’ Help and A Hard Day’s Night films closes. In addition, Avicii whose "Levels" hit the UK Top 10 music charts supports a massive New York New Year party with Martin Audio.
