This week’s Top 10 news articles on API—which runs up to April 12th—sees the gold and silver spots being taken convincingly by news from Funktion-One and Yamaha.
Sitting top of the table, Funktion-One’s new F1201 loudspeaker proved massively popular with our readers. Just pulling in a little bit behind Funktion-One’s news was Yamaha’s announcement of its pre-order success with the new CL-series of consoles unveiled at this year’s ProLight+Sound event. Yamaha also secure 9th place with the recent appointment of Sebastian Rodens.
Taking bronze we see NAB 2012 already piquing the interest of the readers as the lead up to the Las Vegas event begins to hot up with Studer’s new compact console catching many peoples’ eyes. Similarly, sitting a little further down the listing, excitement continues to grow for this year’s PLASA Focus in Leeds.
The ubiquitous API Rising Stars feature once again secures two of the top 10 spots with last week’s Lester Page sitting in 10th and this week’s coverage of Brighton-based Mike Anderson sitting strongly in 7th.
Beyond this we see Joe Strummer, Jessie J and a superb exclusive interview with HARMAN’s Executive Vice President, Blake Ausburger.
