Last month saw Funtion-One’s Tony Andrews take to the stage of London’s Truman Brewery to discuss the state of audio quality in the 21st century for TED (Technology Entertainment Design) – a non-profit organisation dedicated to ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’.
Industry veteran Andrews took the opportunity to express his views on the values of high quality audio, stating: “Bad sound is a vexation to the spirit.” As a self-professed audio purist, Andrews also delves into the major concerns and potentially damaging effects of bad sound and the ignorance of many to its beneficial values.
