BVE North 2012 has been hailed a success by organiser i2i Events, due to extra seminars, more exhibitors and 2,587 visitors – an increase of eight per cent over 2011.

The free seminar streams proved popular, with expert speakers sharing their knowledge on a variety of different topics, and the number of revisits also increased by 43 per cent, with 427 people attending the show for a second day.

A number of product launches and demonstrations took place across the two days from the likes of Audio-Technica, Røde and Sennheiser.

Visitor statistics show that 43 per cent were employed in management positions with purchasing power, from leading local, national and international companies such as the BBC, Channel 10, City Broadcasting, dock10, Engage Sports Media, FremantleMedia Ltd, ITV, Lime Pictures, Manchester Digital, Microsoft, Red Bee Media, S.O.A.P. Media Productions and Sumners.

Anita Pal, event director for i2i Events, said: “BVE North 2012 has been an incredible success, building on the strong foundations that were put down last year to create an important date in the industry calendar. We are really pleased to have the support of the industry for this event and it’s been great to see how busy the stands and theatres have been throughout the show.”

BVE North will return to Manchester Central Arena on November 12th - 13th 2013. The next BVE takes place at ExCeL in London from February 26th - 28th 2013.
